I bought rolled oats at the feed store

Since they have been on Quaker Old Fashion oats, do I do anything different with these oats? I started Lulu on the 1/4 cup twice a day yesterday, so would she still get the same amount of rolled oats? The others only got hay tonight and before bed I might give them a tablespoon of oats and put less than half the amount of pellets in. They have been leaving some, so I think I am feeding too much.

Feed them the same way. The Old Fashioned oats are a little more processed than rolled, so might be easier for young kits to digest, but all of mine are on rolled oats from the time they start nibbling on, and they do just fine.

They may be eating them more slowly since the oats are in a different form. I always gave mine plenty of oats in addition to their pellets, hay and greens. Some rabbits eat more oats, some eat less. All are healthy.

Thank you and I got a shallow dish that clips on the side of the wire and put down low for the babies to drink from.
