Hubby just called, Leia popped!

He said he went out and she was picking up every scrap of hay she could find, so he gave her more and she started nestbuilding busily. He left her for about two hours and went back and she had what looks to be 6, but was still cleaning things up, placentas, etc. She has not pulled any fur yet, but I am guessing she might when she is done cleaning?

That seems to be what most of my girls do...the fur is on the top of everyone..all nice and clean..no ickyness anywhere..and then this pile of fur.

I've got a couple who pull fur AS they're kindling, but generally those girls don't do much of a nest before hand. :shrug:

Well, there are 6 for sure. All good sized and healthy looking. Hopefully they will all make it ok. Two looked a little wrinkly so we took Leia out and held the kits to her belly to eat. She tolerated it well, and the kits got an extra meal.
