My buck keeps spray peeing into the next door cage onto my doe. She has turned yellow! How do I wash her? I know that rabbits are like cats in that they hate water, who has suggestions?

um....very carefully? :hiding:

No, I am just kidding! Best thing is to spritz them with water/vinegar and rub baking soda into the stained fur. Let it dry then brush it out. That should remove MOST of it...

He actually is on the end cage with a divider between them which is framed 1/4 hardware cloth. What should I make a new divider out of or maybe just the bottom half of it?

Also do I use the cornstarch the way OneAcreFarm suggested like the baking soda?

Some people use plexiglass. I myself use galvanized sheet metal for dividers. You can purchase precut dividers from several suppliers. I myself just by full 4'x 8' sheets from a local HVAC supplier and then cut it up with a pair of tin snips.

The baking soda didn't work quite as well as the cornstarch, but I'm not sure if the powder is acting more like a makeup on the fur so is more obscuring the yellowish color than removing it. It definitely didn't remove all of the yellow but it does seem lighter. She is such a good bunny, just sat on my lap and let me do my thing spraying and rubbing with my hands, a towel, a brush, more spray, different spray, more rubbing in of powder... Then she was rewarded with a carrot.
