How can I help my bunny cope after losing his bonded mate, Bella?

3 months ago we had to rehome our bunny for unexpected reasons. The woman that took him in has 3 other bunnies that he quickly bonded with, except for her male which he fought with to protect his girl Bella.

Well, she reached out the other day and said it wasn’t working and he had to go. It was sudden to say the least. He’s home with us now, where he will stay. But my heart breaks for his loss of Bella.

Is there anything I can do to help him? He has a stuffy in with him. And our cats can go where he is to visit often and snuggle. But I’m sad for him because he loved her, you could tell.

Ah, yes I bet he is sad. My buck is in love with his doe and will turn vicious if other bucks are around. I think another doe would cheer him right up though.
