I think that the breeding was successful. But I've never bred rabbits before, so I don't know. My buck covered her twice, but only fell off once.

I read somewhere about breeding a doe again later to make sure that she gets pregnant. But if she took the first time and the second time would she have two litters that were a day apart or something? Sorry if that is a stupid question, I just don't want to do anything wrong.

It's a certain timeframe, like after a week, I think, where she could get pregnant in the second uterine horn. Breeding one or two days after the first mating is fine though.

From everything I've read there is no need to rebreed after a doe has been covered tho some breeders do , usually ~8 hours or so after the initial breeding.

I got a litter of 12 from my first attempt and the buck covered her twice without being rebred later.

My second attempt I got a litter of only three tho from a very young doe who likely wasn't at peak production , again without rebreeding.
