I’ve got a doe with 2 week old kits. I just moved (today) a 3 month old doe into the empty cage beside her. How long does it take for them to get used to each other so they don’t fight through the wire, The 3 month old has already accepted the older doe, but the older doe is taking her time reciprocating.

I don't have the answer. But mine did the same thing. I put a piece of peg board between the two for about 3 weeks. When I removed it they were fine.

depends on the doe and how protective she is of her kits. Normally, a couple days max.

Is there concern it may disrupt her nursing?

I suspect the doe is being exrta territorial to protect her babies. Give the young doe a hide if there is room mama doe too and put some kind of visual divider between the cages.

I've never had it be an issue. Rabbits are very individualistic though....
