they have to appearance of harlequins. Not showable from the looks of it. Mind you get harlequin in a variety of rabbits, but their general appearance is that of the harlequin breed.

They look to be Harlequins to me...question...are they used to getting that much greens to eat? If not, it may make them sick....do you have any grass hay instead of fresh grass to give them? Are you feeding any kind of pellet?

Welcome to RT, R92!

What cute rabbits! They are Harlequin marked, as to breed, it is hard to say.

That is an awful lot of fresh greens in there- if they aren't used to it they will probably get diarrhea. If you aren't feeding pellets they need alfalfa and grass hay (or cubes) and some grain, as well as a mineral block. They look very young, so crimped oats would be a good start.

HAHA! Once again, we think alike Sistah! R92, if you have not already noticed, my Sistah and I are almost always on the same wavelength, so you will have to forgive us the matchy matchy postings!

Sometimes we are half wits though, and it takes both of us to get an idea out. So forgive us for that too. ;)

depends on what they actually turn out like. Some meat mixes are, some well..not as much BUT all rabbits are made of meat. :)

Yup- looks like an opal doe. At least the head looks feminine, especially in the first pic.

So do you think that it's under 6 months? And is this the biggest it will get? Sorry for all the questions and thank all of you that are replying back thanks agian

rex does mature at 8-10lbs, sometimes a little bigger. that doesn't look a mature sized rex. as far as I can tell, it looks like my four month olds.

Usually not until 7-8 mos, it really depends on when she reaches senior weight. When she reaches 7lbs and looks receptive, you can probably give it a try.

The guy I got the rex from ask if i wanted a American white it was about the same size as the rex. Should I take it? And would I be able to breed it with the rex and get decent rabbits?

They have different body structures to be sure, but are both meat type rabbits, so if they are just meat and pets it doesn't matter. You won't get the Rex fur, if you are interested in that, but if that doesn't matter, then I wouldn't worry.
