HELP!! My mini Rex is sick!

My mini Rex buck hasn't pooped all day and he's lethargic in his cage. I also found an open sore on his leg just a lil bit ago. How do I get him to poo? Please help

Is he eating or drinking? Fluids should help him poop, you can give him Pedialyte. You can also try a little canned pumpkin...not pumpkin pie filling. Sorry, that is about all I know, we feed a little fresh parsley to stimulate appetite too.

He hasn't been drinking very much at all today. He has eaten but not very much. I do have fresh parsley so I'll give that a try. His stomach is tight like he's full and needs to poo.

You can gently rub his stomach to try to move gas along, I would work on getting fluids into him.

Someone was telling me about wool block the other day and said give Pineapple or papya and I believe you can give a little bit of banana peel as well. Thats all I know to help.

Get a big bunch of dandelion leaves and soak them. Give him those. If he'll eat them, it may get him through this. The moisture and the slightly laxative dandelions can be a helpful combination. It sounds like gut stasis.

He's kind of picking at hay but not really eating. I tried parsley and he wouldn't eat that either. I rubbed his belly too. Still nothing. Il try the Papya

Any vacant lot or park should provide dandelions.

Ok I think he's feeling better. He is chowing down on his hay and he's pooped as well. Thank you all so very much!!!!
