My sister is raising satins - and she is getting otters AND martins.
This is out of a line showing only black or blue otters on the pedigree.

After about 5 months, a few began showing a ring pattern. WTH? None of hers have any agouti on the pedigree.

1) I am confident that the pedigrees she got absolutely don't belong with these rabbits. I don't trust the breeder as far as I could throw him.

2) How is the gene coming up for martins and otters and opals? (She was working towards a blue otter, so the ring pattern made opal)

Not a real urgent question, since she has sent most of this line to freezer camp and now has a great quality chocolate line started, I've just never seen a line produce martin, otter & agouti patterns all in the same litter.

A marten is a sable or chinchilla otter so one of the parents could easily be hiding sable (AKA light shaded) or chinchilla (AKA dark shaded) on their C-locos colour group.

The agouti is a problem. It is dominant so one if the parents MUST be agouti to produce agouti kits. If both of them are self or otter then it may just be poor colour saturation in the self coat that is mimicking agouti.

Another possibility is she has a super steel which is an agouti with two steel genes making it look black but I don't believe steel is a common gene in Satins
