I don't show, so can someone help me evaluate the type of this blue SF? I know blue is not an accepted show color, and he has too light silvering. He has amazing fur quality!! Super, super soft, and stands up perfectly straight. Anyway, can you guys help me evaluate his type?

Here he is:

I hope I'm posing correctly  Should I be holding back his ears or not?

Also, just as a side note. One of his ancestors (appears twice on his ped) won 5 legs, one won 2 legs, and one won a BOV. That's why I want to know if he is good show quality.

His shoulders are a bit weak, giving him a more semi arch / mandolin shape seen in Beveren and Flemish, rather than a commercial body type.

Basically they need to be wider and higher :)

Weak shoulders are a common problem on many breeds and I have given up on trying to improve my AmChins since both times i tried adding new stock to my herd to improve conformation it was a disaster a :(

Thanks Dood! That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't really sure. Now time to go pose my other rabbits and see who has good shoulders....
Any more evaluations are welcome!!

Good depth, good width, narrow long shoulders, a little weak in the lower rear end. I think your back feet are a touch forward. Dont hold his ears back. He looks very young. If he is younger than 12 or 14 weeks, you are jumping the gun. Dood dont give up on your american chins. Maybe you are just looking in the wrong place for better stock?

Perhaps I should have clarified that their conformation improved but other traits like temperament, fertility, health, colour (introduced REW, himi and non extension  to my herd) all suffered :(

I agree with the shoulders comment, but this one has much better rise and width than your Black buck. I think this little guy has a lot of potential.
