Hello from Wisconsin. I’ve raised rabbits, mostly for fur and meat for 2 decades. Currently working with Flemish, Rex and dabbling in Himalayan. I do not show, but enjoy working with and breeding for show quality rabbits with the purebreds I have.
I recently purchased “black” rabbits who are genetically Agouti with the Steel gene. I’m no stranger to this and will once again be trying to breed it out because it’s not what I prefer to work with. And so continues my journey through Steel, which rekindles more often than not when I bring in new rabbits. Anyone else as lucky as me?
