One of my elops had a doa kit on day 34, so I bred her on day 35, and she bled some. Then on day 36 she had another doa. Amazingly she had 3 healthy kits yesterday! That's a pretty good for a doe that :rabbit-hop2: :rabbit-hop2: probably had one of her horns blocked at the time of conception!! :rabbit-hop2:

No offense but why didn't you give her a few days before rebreeding her? Now you'll probably have to separate the Kits from her early because she could have more

She definitely have more and they’re all okay now 😊
I think the issue @RabbitsOfTheCreek is concerned about is that you also just bred her...and so she will again potentially have more in 35 days, at which point you will need to wean her current litter.

I see what people are commenting on, but the way I'm reading it is that day 34 there was a stillborn, then re-bred day 35, day 36 there was another stillborn and then yesterday had 3 healthy kits from the re-breeding (so the stillborns were a month ago)

it's just fine to wean kits at day 35. once kits have hit day 17 weaning is relatively painless/easy.

You'll want to wean a couple days before the expected due date. Just move mom into a new cage for her new litter.
