Darwin in his tree, can you spot him?

HERE he is! lol He tried to "hide" from me. He is so cute.

Milked Nachosita today to get her used to me touching her udders. 2 cups in the middle of the day! She was the perfect lady, I think she's going to make a great milker for our family. Since it smelled back from her giving birth a few days ago the chickens got a mid afternoon snack.

My parakeet mom and dad stopped feeding their chick... So I'm doing it!

Yeah it's been a hot winter actually. We had a short colder snap but the last couple days have been pretty warm.

One negative thing about living here. I have no AC or heat. So if it's 60° outside, it's 60° inside. Same if it's 90°.... So every place has it's positives and negatives! I thought about heat and AC but with electric running 57 cents a kilowat I can't afford it.

What a great diversity of critters! And to have such beautiful flowers in winter! I noticed last weekend that some of the bulbs and one type of flowering shrub are starting to open up, so we might not be too far behind you! Though today we are having our second (very light) snow of the season, and I think that's beautiful as well!
