chocolate double snowflake female hedgehog at breeding age. We have named her Sunoo which is just the japanese butchering of the word snow. They said she likes to dig and sure enough she dug her way under the layers of fleece in the bottom of her cage and I to move her. We'll need to get some bricks or a board to cover the edges.

Ohhhhhhhhh! She is so beautiful!

She knows it too! :p Notice how she's not afraid to show her pretty face to the camera, unlike some hedgies we know...

She was still huffy and prickly about being woken up and moved but overall she's quite friendly and very active. The others would just freeze if you set them somewhere in the daylight. I think she's going to be fun to own as well as adding good personality genetics to our little herd.

In the first photo she looks very angry, with her little fist clenched!

She has an attraction to stronger smelling clothes. She killed one of my husbands socks last night and then fell off the bed attacking my sports bra. She's also decided armpits need cleaned which involves nipping. They are nearly blind and walk right off the edge of things but their sense of smell is very strong. Luckily we already use unscented stuff from having sugar gliders cause one at the breeder's bit me for using strong smelling public restroom soap.
