Growout cage bulging at the seams

I usually try to time my litters so that cage space is available but due to 2 accidental breedings ( The sex change fairy visited and a "doe" became a buck) I have more growing rabbits than cage space. It looks as though I will have to start butchering younger than I normally do. At least I'll end up with some nice tender fryers in the freezer even if they are a bit small.

LOL that's when we start building more cages...... and once they are built, they will never be empty again......

Fortunately two of my does are sharing a nest. That frees up one cage.
