Great time yesterday!

[Birds Buns N Bees]

I went to a double show in Yankton, SD yesterday and had an awesome time! I took 3 rabbits: a sr. otter buck, a jr. otter buck, and a blue jr. doe. As the show was starting, I noticed Mike Avesing (one of the judges) looking around for a writer, so I volunteered. I ended up writing for him all day, and I learned a ton from him! I thought he was a really nice guy, too.
Of course then I had to find someone else to put my rabbits up for me, and as my rabbits were showing on a different table in Show A, I missed seeing how they did. Then the lady who put them on the table for me came up to me and said that my otter sr. buck had gotten BOB! I was thrilled, but a bit disappointed that I missed it. I also got BOV blue with my little doe. My buck then completely shocked me by going on to win Reserve In Show. I was blown away!
In Show B my buck again won BOB, so I'd say it was a pretty good day! I think I'll hold onto that little buck for awhile.

I have written for judges before, but not for a full day. You must have learned an incredible amount.
