My least favorite rabbit chore is butchering time but I have 9 ready and need the cage room. Good weather, cool and cloudy but no chance of rain. I guess I'd better pull up my socks and get to work.

I'll be butchering with a friend of mine this afternoon as well, providing the weather doesn't worsen. It is overcast and a bit windy here today.

I don't like doing the deed either, but we sure do enjoy the meat. I hope your day goes smoothly, Hoodat.

As much as I'm not looking forward to our first butcher day...I am, ya know? I'm hoping the anticipation is worse than the actual deed will be. Still some time for us though...hope to breed our 2 does mid-April, so if we have successful litters, we'll be looking around mid July for our first foray into it. I confess to keeping an eye on CL for one we could sort of "practice" on, LOL.
