If I had to choose my breed of choice, I really love the Beverens and Silver Fox is a very close second, but unfortunately there are no breeders anywhere near me for either breed (not even in the surrounding states)! At this rate, I may not ending up finding any rabbits from the breeds I want anyway.

Ummm, I've got these in the house right now, both blue does bred and should have a couple more litters at the first of February ... and I live in NW Oklahoma

And, if you want to see the Silver Fox buck and doe that these came from, here is the link to the black buck (poto 10/2012):

Oh if only I knew someone going through that area in the next few months!!! They are absolutely precious! :p
Hm, maybe I can convince my aunt and uncle to pick up a little something on their next trip to Oklahoma... They travel to Oklahoma City every few months, so maybe next time, they could travel up to CO on their way home with a bunny in the backseat!

Better find out if the family will agree to another breed, real quick... :D :bunnyhop:

when you are thinking about which breeds you want, I would check the livestock conservancy list. http://albc-usa.org/cpl/wtchlist.html#rabbits This will show you which heritage breeds are the most "endangered". I looked at several breeds on there and found all sorts of interesting dedicated breeders for the American Blue/White breed, and have located several breeders willing to trade for Satin Angoras. I know Silver Fox is also a "threatened" breed, as I looked into those as well.
