I've figured out that the "frosties" showing up in our herd are frost points. Most are ordinary black chin frost points. But one has lighter, brownish ears. In the picture, the one on the left is an ordinary frost point; the one on the right is the light brown one.
As far as I know, we don't have any dilute or chocolate genes in our herd. But could this be evidence of one of them? If so, which one, and what is the probable genotype of this rabbit?
Thanks!

Chocolate Chin Frosty A_ bb cchd_ D_ ee

Please keep in mind that there are different shades of chinchilla all the way from so dark they look steel to so light they look white. It depends on modifiers and which other gene is on the C-locus with the chinchilla gene. You can also get very sooty looking chins so don't bet on chocolate just yet but it is possible.
