Need some assistance. Ive got a 25-30 lb Flemish giant that has what I'd call a bad case of fur mites. Ears look fine. Heavy dander and fur coming out in clumps. Skin looks red once the area is clear of the white heavy dander. He lives next to two does with liters at 2 days old. Does look to be free of any infestation.
I know ivermectin is drug of choice. What is your expert advice on how to treat and how much. I do have syringes but would applying it topically be better.
I know i need to clean like crazy and quarantine the buck. Any thing else I should be aware of and should I treat does as well as they are lactating.
Thank you.
