I'm looking to drop costs all around and found this bag of livestock feed.
It says it's for---
"Feed Solutions Sweet Mix is a nutritious and economical mixture of pellets and wholesome grains. Perfect feed for mixed herds of animals which include sheep, as it contains no copper. It is designed as a protein and energy source for mature maintenance or lightly-worked horses, cattle, goats, and sheep on fair to good quality forage.

Crude Protein (min.) 12.00%, Crude Fat (min.) 2.50%, Crude Fiber (max.) 18.00%, Calcium (Ca) (min.) 1.50%, Calcium (Ca) (max.) 2.00%, Phosphorus (P) (min.) .40%, Salt (NaCl) (min.) 1.50%, Salt (NaCl) (max.) 2.00%, Potassium (K) (min.) .70%, Selenium (Se) (min.) .10ppm, Zinc (Zn) (min.) 50.00ppm, Vitamin A (min.) 3000IU/lb, Ruminant meat and bone meal free."

What do you guys think, would this work to supplement my rabbit's forage diet with?
Thanks.

Larger animals can consume quite a bit if sugar but it is very fattening for rabbits. I would use it with caution and keep track of their weight.

Does it indicate how much sugar is in it, other than it being called sweet mix? Is molasses or other sweet ingredient listed in the first few ingredients on the label? Whatever is in it I agree that new foods need to be fed very cautiously with rabbits. This is true even with foods other people's rabbits eat with no problems. They have more sensitivity to switching foods than many other animals have.

why would it say ruminant meat free? Like there's other kinds of meat in there?

That would be for 'mad cow' disease, which is caused by ruminants eating proteins from other ruminants.
Specifically, neural proteins, brains and spinal column.

An ingredients list would be needed. Just because the numbers match (that fat is low enough and lower than most livestock feed) doesn't mean the ingredients are healthy or even digestible by that animal.

Bought a bag for tossing to the birds, will see what it say's later today.

I used sweet feed too condition for the fair.too much can cause diahrea in rabbits.
