Are the does nursing twice a day, or nce? If it's twice, you could rotate the boxes between the two. Put ceecee's box with Coral at one feeding and Coral's with Ceecee, , then switch the boxes back to their original mama at the next. If Coral has more milk, everyone will get one good meal a day, and one light meal from Ceecee.

That sounds like a good plan, even if one of them only nurses once daily. Just rotate the boxes either morning or evening to make sure everyone gets fed.

Do you have any borage? It helps bring in their milk. There are other herbs as well.

MaggieJ gave me this link when one of my does was having trouble:

Yup, tried to give myself a bit of a safety net and those dratted does messed me up royally. I did lose several though from each litter and I fostered half a dozen with a couple of friends.

At someone's suggestion (I think it was Maggie), I gave oatmeal coated with blackstrap molasses to a doe who wasn't producing much milk, and her supply improved. :)

oh good, borage is plentiful in my garden( i love it in tea and the flower is my anniversary flower) but i will try all the suggestions :D

thank you everyone for the advice, its quite shocking for a first timer to loose a couple but thats normal. (lost 3 out of 16)
the babies all look good today i didn't take pics because each doe made such a nice fur nest around them i moved it to count them but then put it back.
