We have two live litters that are now out of the nestbox, and growing like weeds! We have 7 doe, all are bred, except one 12 week old, and the last doe to kindle, but she will be getting bred back in the next week. Our next doe due is at day 28 today, so she just got the nestbox today. :up: Most of our does are young, so we had to wait a bit to get them to the right age, and now it will be a waiting game to see what kind of moms they will be. But, having just started our rabbit venture this year, I finally feel like we are getting somewhere.
I also found the caly does I've been looking for(thanks to whoever gave me the tip on the Yahoo Caly group........I think it was Ann)! I bought four little junior pedigreed caly does, and a senior pedigreed bred doe, along with a nice caly buck! Getting those 6 on sunday!
I reserved a couple little NZW junior does also that I am waiting for the breeder to wean. I think I'm done buying for a while! Gotta give that hubby a break from building cages! On the plus side though, I think he's got his cage building system down pat finally! :lol:
