Yeah I got two chunkys and two skinnys. I am so proud! I am checking the little bellies. First time mommy but she acts like a champ. She checks them constantly. Pulls fur an covers or uncovers them several times a day. She made a beautiful nest and delivered an hour later. No mess nothing. Had I not known better I would have thought she was a seasoned dam but nope.

Yeah I got two chunkys and two skinnys.

You can remove the two chunksters for the day so the skinnies don't have any competition at the milk bar. I generally don't mess with mine much other than occasionally fostering runts to a smaller litter, but I know that often that extra feeding will allow them to catch up.

Had I not known better I would have thought she was a seasoned dam but nope.

I love it when they get it right the first time! Good girl!

Yeah, I did that with a litter of dwarfs. Took two fat ones out at night.

She is over protective! She attacks my hand when I reach in the cage. She is turning out to be the best mom I ever had. Got a litter of chocolates due next week and this doe is just lazy and stubborn. I will probably foster them to the black doe.
