I couldnt find the other post on feeding kits. So to all that had posted on flipping the doe with a towel under her to catch the kits when they fall, THANK YOU!!!! I had to do that last night. I noticed that after looking at the feed and unfeed pictures that 2 of them were not being feed. I must say the towel was a baby saver....
Thank you all for the GREAT info you all post on here!! You sure have helped this newbie out!!

LOL - did you sit on the floor too? I did the first few times until I was confident that I could handle the one kit. Then, the next litter I had 2-3 that needed several supplemental feedings for a couple of weeks. I went back down on the floor for the first couple of times with the multiples, but eventually worked it out so I could sit on the couch :D

Did you also trance the doe?

I did trance the doe,but lets just say with the kids helping me its a VERY good thing we were on the floor, I was holding the momma and the kidos placed all 4 at 1 time on the momma had kits going everywhere. I didnt know if i was going to pull my hair out or not. LOL

Awww, that is great that the kiddos could help! When you all get a little more experience, I am sure it will become a great "family" moment they will remember for the rest of their lives!
