feeding duckweed

I believe I have lots of duckweed growing in our smaller creeks and ponds. Has anyone fed this to rabbits? How are you harvesting it?

I am looking into duckweed for my buns. Don't have any yet, there are several YouTube videos from aquaponic gardners about it. Some of the more detailed ones talk about harvesting and storage.

That looks like good information. I'll watch it tonight. Scooping it out with mesh from the ponds is a good idea.

It says it's a snack... so I'm assuming too rich to be a main feed?

Thank you, Maggie. I'll look through that thread. I'm hoping it's going to be pretty easy to harvest store and feed... so much of it growing naturally around here.
