HI
I have a Lionhead doe that had 6 kits. The kits are now 10 days old.
I read "Raising Rabbits the Modern Way" by Bob Bennett, and "Raising Rabbits" by Ann Kanable. Both books tell me that I should free-feed a nursing doe (or at least, that's what I understood, and have been doing. On the flip side, I think I may actually be feeding her too much. She used to eat 4 ounces of food each day (while preggers, and before), and now she cleans up 2 feedings of 6 ounces each; one in the morning, the other mid-afternoon.
Am I feeding her too much?
