What colors are these two buns? Flemish Satin crosses not quite two years old. I have zip experience with Flemish Giant colors. Basic genotype would be helpful if possible. Helps me pick the correct color on the software program.

if they are Flemish/Satin crosses you don't have to use the Flemish color names. But...

the top would just be considered a black but it truth its a GTS

the one on the bottom is an Opal but to me it looks like a Opal steel. :)

I'm seeing gold or silver tipped steel A_ B_ C(or cchd)_ D_ Es
and opal or gold tipped blue steel. What is the belly color on the second rabbit?

Haha, you beat me Celice, be we had almost identical answers.

I know the genotypes pretty well, but I don't know evans software.

Had to go check  Tummy is uniformly same color as rest of rabbit. Only bottom of feet and hock are a light cream.

__________ Wed Feb 04, 2015 6:30 pm __________

How would I tell the difference between gold and silver tipped steel in the first rabbit?

Hehe! You and I know a lot about steel!

I know nothing about Genotypes though! I haven't had time to study them...

__________ Wed Feb 04, 2015 7:36 pm __________

the tipping is ether gold or silver. Thus the name Gold Tipped Steel or Silver Tipped Steel. :D

Is there tan ticking? Steel is either a chinchilla or chestnut with the black part of the coat extended (or blue in the case of the blue steel).

If the ticking reminds you of chinchilla it's a silver tipped steel. (which is what I think it looks most like from the pic)
