I like the ring pattern on Steve. I wonder, how does that spin up as yarn? I only have selfs.
I will be finding out because I will be harvesting everyone since it is a bout to stay too hot. I'm just gonna spin a separate sample from each that way I can have examples for anyone interested when/if I sell any fiber.

Such beautiful rabbits! My brother is looking for an English Angora rabbit but we can’t find anyone in Colorado. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Check out the Hippity Hop Express, they are a rabbit transport company. Based on the east coast, but the June run went through Phillipsburg KS so if that's close enough that you could meet the van, there is a decent chance you can find what you want and have it shipped to somewhat close to you.

The National Angora breed club has a number of contacts for Angora breeders, including a listing for an English Angora breeder in Colorado called Pinewood Mountain Rabbitry. See here for more contact info:

Angelas Angoras in Colorado Springs is also an E.A. breeder...I don't use Facebook but if you do, you may be able to look at the following:
https://www.facebook.com/angelasenglishangorarabbits/

Mora Angora rabbitry (https://www.moraangora.com/) breeds English Angoras in Wisconsin, but has a number of bunny transport options listed for the Lower 48 (https://www.moraangora.com/rabbits-for-sale-near-me)

Even if none of the above have stock currently for sale, they might be able to point you in the right direction.

Here is a pic of Steve's wool spun into 2 ply. In the pic of the 2 yarns Steve's is on the right. I wanted to get a pic in the sun. I haven't learned to spin from the cloud yet

I have English Angora, and I'm in Arizona. I can work with a transporter, or I will be through the ABQ area in a couple weeks and could meet if you're willing to drive a little bit.

Doesn't have to be anywhere near, you can ship them via air if you can get the breeder to take them to the airport. We're in Hawaii so that's our only option. The bunnies don't seem to mind and it's a lot faster than by ground transport.
