They were raelly busy today and they want to eat now. The eys one the one are fine now. I am not letting them have Calf Manna, rolled oats, vegetablse or fruit. I will wait on that or read more about it. They do not seem too interested in pellets. The top picture with the lighter colored kit is the one that had the eye problem.

They look great! I'm glad they are all doing so well. :)

Me too. I gave the older ones a slice of apple and one of the little ones came out and Lulu was eating her apple and the kit was sniffing the air and started looking all around in the hay and finally found Lulu with the apple, but she was done about the time the kit got there, but sure worries me what they can or cannot eat. I thought they were sleeping, so gave her the apple.

__________ Sat Oct 06, 2012 9:37 pm __________

Cute! That looks like some very nice hay you have for them. -Wendy

There is grass hay and then I got a handful of alfalfa and put on top of that. It is very leafy this time.

She has ate crab apples and pieces of apple every day the whole time pregnant with them and while nursing them. It sure never hurt her, but I will be careful with them and go slow with fruit and vegetables when they are older.

You seem to have some very healthy rabbits. I just meant that they would not be missing out, by not getting to eat the actual apple. :)

Thank you! She is a good mother. I hope her milk holds out. They were eating everything this morning. Sitting in the oatmeal bowl and Lulu could hardly get any. Eating a lot of grass and hay. After they go to sleep I will go out and feed her things they cannot have. They are very friendly and come to get petted.

With them being friendly and coming to you for pets, good job! You handled them from the beginning and they know that no harm will come from you. I've been handling Luna's babies from Day One. Hoping I do as well as you and your Lulu.

I almost thing they would have been friendly no matter what. Flemish Giants are just different. I did probably less than most. I only brought them in once a day and for a short period of time since Lulu was upset about it. They sleep back in that dark box and I was worried about them being shy, but they just come out like they own the place.
