Ear tagging

I am looking into some type of ear tag for my rabbits that store data that I can classify and store data on a spread sheet or something on my computer.I am wanting to keep track of bloodlines and other information. Any suggestions?

Farm websites will list all available ear tags. Your only option would be one of the small ones they have. But if the rabbits live in cages, they will eventually just rip the tags out.
Why not just tattoo them? Fast, permanent and safe.

How quick is the tattoo process?

Not sure if it would fit your scenario, but a permanent marker or sharpie might do it for smaller amounts

A re application I think is necessary after 4 weeks or so.

Clamp style happens within seconds. The pen style ones depend on how good you get.

About a minute to get the rabbit in the sack, another minute to tattoo. If your new to it or the rabbit gives you heck, then 5-10min.
