Dutch colored New Zealand

Has anyone had any experience with a New Zealand rabbit giving birth to a dutch-colored baby? My New Zealand black doe, and my New Zealand white buck have produced a baby that is colored exactly like a Dutch rabbit. What I am wondering is if this is an actual occurrence that can happen, or does one of my New Zealand's have Dutch ancestry? I will attach a picture of the kit as soon as I can get one.

I was just reading about this today due to one of mine having a few white markings. Apparently they can carry a Vienna gene and come out looking like dutch but not actually be Dutch. Now, I don’t know if this is true I. Your case because I know nothing about rabbit genetics LOL but that’s what I learned today. Here’s a pic...

Thank you so much! This is awesome. I am also relieved because I didn't want to be selling rabbits that weren't pure New Zealand. I'm going to be reading this entire article so I can learn everything I can about rabbit genetics.
