Just want to show these leaves, and make sure this is safe? I trimmed a couple big branches off this tree to make chew sticks for the buns, but before I do, I'm double checking. :)

Unfortunately the branches you posted could be a variety of plants, including Russian olive and Oleander which are not safe.

If you're sure of them (Austee = hybrid between corkscrew and white willow) then they are safe

Thanks CnB..........I'm pretty sure they are willows too, and I'm pretty sure they planted them around the time that the fad Austrees were popular. They planted them to block the neighbors place, so I'm sure they wanted a fast growing wind block type tree.
