I visited your website, I could gleem a bit as I took German in highschool and I understand the genotypes.

I had no idea there were so many lutino shades in the making.

There is a forum memeber in the UK who has a shaded carrying non extension (A_ & Ee & pp) or a lutino (A_ & ee & pp) and I didn't know they came in any other shade.

I much prefer their pink eyes to the bright red ones seen in Himilayan's and REW. The lilac lutino's look very nice with their powder grey coats and light pink eyes! I was trying to find a chinchilla lutino picture and if you find one please post it. Lutino is even more rare over here and I am really looking forward to seeing the different effects this new P-locus recessive will have on rabbit colours.

Unfortunately it looks like rabbits have different pigment concentrations in their coats so the Lutino's wont look exactly like their rodent counterparts - http://www.kaninchenwissen.de/knowledge ... .php?id=34 but it is still exciting!

Chin lutino is almost completely white with a blue sheen to it. A german breeder called "reh" on forums has pictures of them on his website and told me they are not much different from a rew.

Here is a pic

The choc based lutino's are newly bred and introduced to the population, the first ones are bred by monique where my doe comes from.
She is littermate to them to be exact and i'm going to follow the same path as her and stick with lilac (black based) and champagne (choc based) lutino's.
