Once you get rid of these coons - how to keep them from coming back, without large heavy freezers?
I use pickup truck tool boxes for feed. The medium size one, holds three 50 lb bags of feed per side
or 6 bags per toolbox. Tops can be locked, or if you lose the key, screw on padlock fixtures and put a padlock on it.
They 'might' be able to tip it, but it is highly unlikely that they have enough strength to get the top open, past the lock or padlock. -- So, a lot of work for them and no feed reward!
-- You should be able to use enamel paint to paint to tool boxes to fit into you yard deco, I sit on them, too!
- coons do not like the smell of ammonia and/ or male human urine (may not work if the male is a vegetarian)
Hope these help, we used to breed Papillons for show and obedience- I worried about them a lot. I Sympathize!
