Roxie has two teats where there is a scab over the nipple. I am guessing that maybe the kits bit her or something. No swelling, no redness, no discharge, just scabs. What can I put on there to help out? Also, I think she has ear mites. What is the Ivermectic dosage for that?

use something like Bag Balm or TeatMint on her teats.(Hoeggers goat supply, I think, sells both.)
or ear mites-- just put a couple drops into the ear, and massage away.Wilma has had a stubborn case of ear mites in one ear-- since plain oil wasn;t cutting it for her,Ii finally put in 0.2 ccs if Ivomec to make sure I got the whole area touched--

Is it hot or very warm? Ive seen our over achieving milk cow get mastitus (spelling is probably off at this hr). I hope its just an over milk happy kid accident, the other is a pain.

Is Roxie still nursing the kits? You might want to consider using plain vegetable or mineral oil in her ears. It is usually very effective and if you only "think" she has ear mites, chances are you caught it early.

Well, I think she is but I dont see them nursing anymore. They are eating and drinking water now and I think I might just go ahead and wean them, they are 7 weeks old already! I just realized that... She has some flaky areas on her shoulders just behind her ears and a little bit of crustiness in her ears. I am told this is indicative of ear mites.
