Doe vulva colors when pregnant???

So in know about how to read a doe through her cycle but what I'm wondering is if anyone has notice a pattern when a rabbit is bred and pregnant regaurding size and color. I know it isn't a sure thing to be able to tell but I thought there should be some consistant findins somewhere.

I've watched my cali doe for 2 months and I never saw her vulva change color? I thought it changed color once a month?

The vulva enlarges, softens, and gets really dark just prior to kindling...

My does go from pink to red during their pregnancy...otherwise it seems to be hit and miss...Spooky never did take if she wasnt hugely swollen and red, so she only got bred a few times, but on butchering I found out she had a lot of internal fat, which could explain all her missed breedings.
