Doe nesting at day 13??

my doe has been digging since the day she was bred. I threw some hay and straw in her cage last night after I cleaned the cage up.

This morning I woke up to a nest.

Do some does just start early?

She has been super aggressive this whole time too. I just got her the day she was bred.<br /><br />__________ Sun Dec 15, 2013 7:03 pm __________<br /><br />Has anyone else had a doe that nested really early and had a viable pregnancy?

Some seem to have a spike of hormones about 2 weeks in. One of my mini rex does can't be in colony her second week of pregnancy because she starts fights and then loses them. I had another mini rex that just kept pulling fur a couple times a week from 2-3weeks, forget about the nest for a week, and then build her real nest. However she also did a few false pregnancies where she'd build nests after 2 weeks, abandon them, and never produce anything. It was always a mystery with her.

There was no fur yet, just adjusting the straw and hay how she wanted, and digging a pocket into it.
