Dolly was humping both her kits. One is 6weeks the other is 5 weeks. Time to separate? I separated anyways, just for tonight, so that they'd make less noise. Course they're still being loud, but whatever.

I'm pretty sure they're still nursing, even if it's minimal. But they're both drinking and eating pellets

Pretty much all of my does are going bonkers. My best guess is that it's because of the increased daylight.

You can wean now, or maybe re-breed to settle her down, and see if she leaves the kits alone after that?

It may be that she wants them gone, but I think she may want to be bred. :)

If you don't want to breed her now, or if the behavior continues when you give them back to her, you can just take them to her for nursing twice a day until you want to wean them, or you can go ahead and wean them.

Ah -- Zass beat me. :)

There is no problem with separating kits
at 5 or 6 weeks. They are already sampling/
eating on their own. It might be in your best interests to simply
rebred your Doe at this time.
Ottersatin. :eek:ldtimer:

But.. She's supposed to be pregnant right now. I take it she's not?

Both kits are probably bucks and she'll want breeding. Get her bred and the behaviour will stop. :)
Granted, I'm new to this, but I checked and both appeared to be girls.
