Do you find it soothing when petting your rabbit? Whenever I pet my bunny on their forehead, my stress and tension goes away.
I had an extremely stressful week last week work wise and was on the edge of completely losing my temper with a difficult co-worker. First time in a while I had to step away from my desk for a bit to bring my stress and aggravation down some notches and I headed straight out to the bunny barn (I work from home) and loved on a couple for a while. It definitely worked for me, made me much calmer, probably dropped my blood pressure significantly...sucked having to have to get back to working but was in a better head space.

Yes, I find myself missing my time with them. Just something about them, especially when they've finally settled in and enjoy your company too.

Me too, Frosty (the guy in the pic) MUST be petted a minimum of 3 times before he will eat his breakfast. also kissing your Nigerian dwarf goat doe on the head is ok too.

I have one New Zealand red doe who shoves her nose as hard as she can through the cage bars when she sees me. I have to kiss it several times, then give her oats. If I kiss her and don't give her oats she bangs her food bowl. I have another NZ REW doe who was my friendliest kit from one litter, always at the door, the one who was always getting pets as a baby. So I used to pick her up and take her to the patio and sit in the rocker with her on my chest and pet her for 10 to 20 minutes while she would doze off. She still wants pets even though she's over 6 months old now. She is my favorite girl. When I pet her she settles down and tucks her paws under like a cat, and closes her eyes while I stroke her ears and back. She will stay in that pose as long as I'm willing to pet her and tell her how much I adore her!

I get distracted very easily, so having to try to get things done quickly is a nightmare, lol. 🤣 I have this one doe I named Sweetheart because of how sweet she is! She is unlike any other rabbit I have had before. She comes to the cage door when I’m feeding her and sits there. I have to push her out of the way to get in! She doesn’t even run away into the corner (like my other rabbits). What is amazing about this is it’s her personality; I haven’t really worked with her a lot. She definitely is a keeper. Lol, I wish my other doe was as friendly as her (she’s got an attitude, although I think it’s because she wants to be bred).

She is a lovely colour and looks a bit like a hedgehog.

I just thought the rabbit in the photo looks like a 🐩.
Then realised it is a 🐩.(Poodle)
I have angoras, and I spin, but I wanted to get them just to have an excuse to sit and groom a rabbit. I spin because I have the rabbits, I don't have the rabbits because I spin.
I wondered what you mean by 'spin'?
