Whats your method of choice for dispatching meat rabbits? Also, what method do you use for a new born kit, one that may have something wrong with it, etc. ?

I use the Rabbit Wringer for normal dispatching and for newborns, I hold the body and, with a good, hard swing, strike the head against a solid, stationary object. I find that to be the fastest, most humane way.

Personally I prefer a pellet at the back of the head where the skull and backbone meet. That way there is nothing to upset the rabbit beforehand. Any handling that includes holding by the hind legs will frighten the rabbit and start the adreneline flowing. That will affect the taste of the meat.
I haven't tried the rabbit wringer yet. I may find I like it better.
