Some of our NZ white fryers have yellowish coats; is they a sign of anything? The fur is a little dull and dryer than oterhs.

could also be a sign of illness -they don't feel well enough to clean themselves

I have found that one of the best ways to get a stain/ dirt out of meat rabbits' coats is two make a very pastey solution of cornmeal and vinegar, place it on the stain, and let it dry, crack, and fall off of their coats. this does the trick very effectively. also, if you need their coats looking shinier for show, place plain corn starch on their coats and let it fall naturally.

Good Luck!!
:D

What IO have always used to clean the Coat on a White Rabbit is:
A fifty/fifty mix in a spray bottle of Water and White Vinegar.
Dampen the area to be cleaned then rub cornstarch into that area
to the consistency of toothpaste, allow to dry then brush out.
You may have to repeat the treatment but this will even remove Tattoo Ink.
Ottersatin.

I actually just went to a rabbit clinic where they talked about this subject.. it normally doesnt mean anything if their coats get yellowish, but if you make a cornstarch mixture with enough water to make it a paste, leave it on the affected areas till it hardens over and scrape it off. also, if they are losing hair, rub corn starch over their fur and work it in in the substitute of water. let me know how it goes!!
