Did I really do something so stupid?

They usually go on my computer calendar and my website. Forgetting happens. I know if I forget to put it on the calendar, I know I immediately go to my website after breeding and put it on my upcoming litters list.

Dayna, maybe you did breed that New Zealand doe I got from you, and she didn't really have babies on day 25 after I bred her. Could be, though none of them have slightly floppy ears, two are black. There is no way to ever know I guess, both bucks could produce black babies.

I also use the Global Pedigree Program online software.?

I just wanted to thank you for reminding me about this option. I have just spent the past 6 hours inputting the start of my rabbit data into that website. I'm not suffering from rabbitosis, just Rabbit MANIA to stay up so late. You'd thin k I was studying for finals or something :)

I won't say "I wish I had done it sooner" but....
I would have gladly paid TWICE the lifetime subscription BEFORE I lost my electronic data.
I had backed up my Kintraks data both online and on my computer. Well it has been un-retreivable both places.
I guess I can't know if this website will ultimately be any better but I'm going to try it for now.
I will also print out copies of all pedigrees I enter.

I write it all down in a small yearly calender that has it listed by the month. I also have a binder that has records for each doe and buck that I write it on.

If you don't have cage cards, you can use a dry erase marker on the J-feeder.

:clover:

I also write the bred date and nest box date on the J-feeder with a sharpie after my husband complained that I was the only one who knew what was going on out there. It erases easily with rubbing alcohol.

I would just throw the nest boxes in. Better that than babies on the wire.
