I finally have a "dead" rabbit to share, wheeeee!!!

So my kits that were born last, like...tuesday? Every day I handle them for a little while, and already they're so used to it that they fall back asleep as soon as I'm done taking them out of the nest box.

Today when I took the otter kit out, he kept rolling over to sleep on his back!!! Fell asleep in my hand while I was desperately trying to see if it's a buck or doe, LOL!!!

I tucked both kits into a fold of my shirt so they could nap while I had some coffee...the otter made a little hammock and rolled back over to sleep on his back again!!!

I was so amused!!!

But the best was while I held them with one hand/arm and adjusted the lining of their nest box with the other, BOTH KITS rolled over and sprawled on their backs!!!!!! Well the otter is sortof on it's side, lol...but look!!! Two "dead" kits!!!!!!

Never before have I captured my "dead" sleeping rabbits on film before...so happy!!

LOL, so I just went out and peeked in the nest, and my otter kit "died" again!!!!

those are some good pictures, my flemish giant male was laying on his side in a dead pose, but moved before i got a shot, lolz it was creepy cause he had an eye open the whole time.

I finally got one.. I went out to check on every one.. I thought she was dead.. then I can see her side going up and down. so I went to the house and got the camera.. And she was still sleeping..
