Day 33

I thought she was going to do what her sister did, but I came home to see 3 kits in a nice cozy fur nest. I checked her before I left, was gone about 2 hours. She got down to business quick!

Oh, good! I suppose she may have gone long since she only had three kits...

The lighter colored one has a few small cuts but other than that they are all doing great.

Prim is day 31 today!
She has made a nest. I hope she has babies this time!

Awww... They're lookin' great! I have a couple questions for you, if you don't mind: She was bred one or two times and never kindled before she had this successful litter, right? Were each of those times with proven or first-time bucks? How many times did you try for a litter from her before she had this one? Trying to learn about does that don't take on their first breedings.

Day 33
..I think. I kept taking them back to the buck till I got 4 fall off for this doe. Both acted really mad about going back to the buck. I found my opal doe carrying hay around this morning. Her sister, has nipples showing and built a beautiful nest yesterday, but I didn’t see any fall offs! This will be a first time breeding rabbits. They are both Rex.

no worries! Yes, I am pretty sure of her dates. I went out to check this morning, still no changes. I will wait a little longer but I am starting to get bummed out about it.
I am new to rabbit breeding so I have a lot to learn.

My momma has built nests a couple of days before hair pulling, so give her some time.
