Im just curious can you breed any color to a red lionhead or is there a color chart to go by like there is for mini rexes?

Well, since Lionheads are not yet an accepted breed, then it depends on what your goals are.
The Mini Rex chart exist to help breeders stay within acceptable ARBA colors, I have a nice one from a holland site called "what to breed to." As far as I can remember, there are only a handful of colors for Lionhead that have COD's so if you are only breeding acceptable colors, then that's easy.
If it doesn't matter, use the MR site, the holland site or the "what to breed to"chart, and it will help tell you expected color outcomes.
Red is a wideband agouti (use genetic color names to match up colors across breeds), so treat it like an agouti.
