Crusty rabbit eyes- is this weepy?

My buck has always had a tiny bit of eye crusts since I got him but it never was a cause for concern as it was such a small amount so I thought it was just allergies as it would also go away sometimes.
But it always comes back and this is him currently! pic below. I’ve been giving ACV this past week. I plan to incorporate garlic soon.
- tips on how to treat it? (Preferably holistically)

- Is this weepy eye?
- can I permanently get rid of this or is it always going to come back?
- anything else to add?
I would just hate to get rid of him.

Oh yeah! So I mean I plan to incorporate some raw garlic to his feed or maybe get some in his water, so he consumes it in some way. Garlic is a powerful, natural remedy for sickness/colds very helpful for the immune system!

To be very blunt, why did you buy a rabbit that was not entirely healthy? Clean eyes, nose, bum and straight teeth are easy to check when buying, bringing sick animals in can cost you your entire rabbitry. So is he at least in quarantine since arrival?

That’s okay, I did check him over this was an over a year ago now that I bought him. He was very healthy. So, I’m wondering if he wasn’t and the lady never told me he had a reoccurring health issue. It’s been now 2 winters with him and this has happened in both. I wonder this because I never bought any other rabbits after him and my others are very healthy. So I’m basically analyzing every little detail from when I got him trying to figure out what’s goin on now

I also only posted this as I wanted to hear other people’s treatments for eye issues. I also wanted to know if this looked like weepy eye or not.
it’s seems like everyone trailed off from what I originally asked. Which is okay, but again I posted for those answers/ advice to those issues.. also won’t be adding garlic now after more research. You live and you learn every day!

a recurrent weeping eye means a couple of different things generally.
1. a poor immune system
2. the presence of the pasteurella virus

or actually both.
The fact that it is almost always present implies both. The fact that it gets worse during the winter... causes me to ask some questions.

1. what changes over the winter from the summer in your housing?
2. what changes in your feed regime from summer to winter?

Do you have snow? A rainy season? Are moulds more prevalent in the winter? More dust? you might need to really think about this.

until you have more answers...

Honestly, if you want to keep him, I'd isolate him away from your herd.
care for him last. Wash up before going to the other rabbits. Make sure he's downwind of any currents.

A distant third possibility is that he has some sort of tooth issue... but you would need a vet to confirm that detail.

I've had this before, this guy will heal if you treat it now, before it gets worse.
Isolate him, and treat it with saline wash, dose him with colloidal silver and a teabag (start with chamomile and if you don't see any improvement, switch to normal).
If you can grow echincea to boost his immunity to feed it fresh, do.

Ok, I'll admit that is a fair step more drastic than yours. But mine started in the parent like your buck has. As @ladysown says above, there are a number of factors for it.
If it is a toothache, he is quite likely to be lethargic and not like himself. Colloidal silver will again fight any tooth infection too. I've saved a doe who seemed about to die from toothache with colloidal silver. It works so well.
Get onto your bucks eye quickly before it's gets worse.
