My overly complicated profile has entered :)

I'm about ready to scrap all that and enter facbook for real as me, and "Magpie Syndrome Rabbitry." because it's too frustrating to not be able to connect with other breeders.

Yay!!!

I see your evil plan, MSD- trying to get me on Facebook :)

Resist, Marinea, resist!!!

Do you have any friends or family that are on Facebook? You could get them to participate for you instead. :)

I recall you also have an aversion to PayPal. I have a webmaster working on a site for me, and I will have an independent credit card processor on the site!

I followed the stuff to enter but not sure I actually did.

If you message me through FB or send me a PM here with your FB name, I can check for you.

It would be amazing to have these toys. You make amazing toys

Aww! Thank you!

I love my rabbits and seeing them happy- and selling these toys not only makes it possible for me to support (partially!) my rabbit habit, but makes other bunnies and their owners happy... so it is a win-win situation all around!

Love the toys!! You could just end the whole thing now and send my bunnies them, :D . And yes, I did enter.

Please let me know when that happens- I would love to support what you're doing,

I have shared your FB info with several folks who have gotten buns from me. I will email them about this giveaway.

Oooh, I just got a great idea- once I am able to order some toys, I may add one to my "care bags" I give when I sell kits.

The new website should be up and running by the end of this coming week!

One of my customers does that! She sells French Lops-both as show animals and pets- but mainly to the pet market. She handles her kits daily and they are very well socialized. Her pets go for $150 to $200, with lifetime support from the breeder, and she includes a starter kit including my large Double Triangle Chewzit with each kit. :D

Yes it is! It is a great marketing tool- it makes people feel that you really care about the animals you are selling. I always include Chewzits when I sell rabbits. I do the same when I sell pups- though of course not my Chewzits, lol!

I don't mean to 'threadjack', but what else do you put in the 'care bags' for new owners? I've been giving a kroger bag full of hay, a few days worth of pellets and a care sheet (with verbal discussion on care details).

I include the same, Syberchick, but also add a toilet paper roll stuffed with hay as a sample toy. Gives the new owners food for thought on enrichment items.

When I am able to add some of MSD's toys, I will likely attach a little tag linking the website so they can replenish them.

I will ask my French Lop breeder about her "care package" next time I see her and let you know what she includes. :)

I recently bought one of the new style can openers (at Ross for about $10) that peel the lids off of cans instead of cutting them. Cans with both ends removed can also be stuffed with hay, with the added bonus (in the bunny's eyes) that even when empty they can make lots of noise playing with the can. :p

If you have the more traditional style can opener that cuts the lids off just make sure to crimp down the sharp edge before giving the can as a toy.

I would be happy to include some of my business cards with the order if you decide to include the toys as part of your new bunny starter kits!

The toilet paper roll is a great idea. My bunnies love them. I did tell the folks who bought babies how to make them, but didn't think to include one. I never have many spares around anyway. :p

I'll probably do the same with some toys from you, MSD. :)

Ask your friends to save them for you. Also don't forget that paper towel and wrapping paper tubes can also be cut to smaller lengths and be used the same way. :)

Thanks Syber! Whether or not you get any toys from me, including some type of toy is a great plan. :)

Asking my friends to save them for me is a great idea.

I really love to give our critters some 'creature comforts' to help combat boredom and such. It not only gives me joy to see the bunnies playing with their toys, but it makes me feel good about helping them stay happy. :)

I would definitely enter if I was still a facebooker! I went off facebook 6 months ago and haven't regretted it.
I wonder what percentage of the population I fit into - ha.
No cell phone (never owned one), no satellite or cable, and not on facebook!! I wonder how many folks under the age of 40 can say that.
It's funny the reactions I get when people want to text and I say I don't own a cell phone! :D

So no TV set huh? I could handle that actually. I'm impressed! It's nice to know there are people who don't think think life cannot go on without these things!
