For once the weather forecast was correct, and we have SNOW! The kids and critters are having a blast. My feet are frozen- cowboy boots aren't very snow proof, lol.
Here is the house, all covered in snow:
This is Oprah, eagerly awaiting delivery of her doeling for her morning repast:
Look at what a good mom she is, lifting her leg out of the way for her little goatling:
Half of the shelter has our hay in it, and look who found a warm spot out of the weather:
The Jersey Woolys seem to be enjoying the cold:
The chickens not so much... only the youngsters that live under the coop where it is relatively dry are out, but then they have no choice in the matter:
The horses all seem very content:
As do the goats:
Good thing my "Barn Cats Extraordinaire" tend to be furry:
Levi blasting through the snow with Hermione in hot pursuit:
Colliepup went sledding, but Levi believes the snow disc is an enormous frisbee:
The "pups" also decided to take a snow hike. Our property extends just over the crest of that hill:
