Hello! I have a 3-month-old rex buck and I will soon acquire a pair of 4-month-old rex sisters. We thought it would be a good opportunity to try to keep the does together in a small colony in our 5-something square meters pen (around 60 square feet, with a raised hutch that creates an extra level), and after reading some other people's experiences I thought about the option of adding the buck to the colony as well.
What I am not sure about is when am I supposed to add the buck to the pen to keep the peace. If I get all three of them in there at the same time they would be all in neutral territory, but he may breed them while they are still too young. If I add him later on, the does would have already claimed the pen and they may fight the buck.
What would be the correct way to start a colony with those three?
